Indian Head Massage
What is it?
Indian Head Massage has been used for hundreds of years and in India is known as champissage. It was generally used by the women to massage their scalps and enhance the condition of their long hair.
It was introduced in 1973 by Narendra Mehta after he came to this country and found he couldnt get this treatment here, while he was training to be a Physiotherapist. So during a Health Fair he offered treatments to visitors and it was so popular he decided to teach it and its now a popular treatment here too.
Companies can book sessions as a treat for their employees so that they can chill out over lunch time a return to work energised.
